Research Interests: Smart hydrogels for adsorption, mineral processing

Prof Prachi’s overarching goal is to design materials and understand their flow properties. One area of research her group has published is in designing adsorbents. Her team has published research in several areas, including developing adsorbents. Her team has demonstrated dye adsorbents made from hydrogel beads and colloidal particle gels. The adsorption capacity is also tuned. Her group has also made contributions in the field of mineral processing and hydraulic transportation.
