Research Interests: Applications of geosynthetics, reinforced soil structures, geotechnical engineering  

Prof Thomas provides consulting engineering services in the fields of geotechnical engineering, geosynthetics and reinforced soil structures. Currently, his work is mostly related to practical applications and not much related to experimental or theoretical research. He is interested to work on the applications of geosynthetics in conserving natural resources like soil and aggregates.
