IITGN has internal connected walkways to encourage community members to take a walk to hostel, academic or housing instead of riding a vehicle.

A Bicycle sharing project was piloted until December 2018. Currently we are in the process of identifying a new bicycle sharing service provider who can run the service on campus efficiently. There are faculty members and students who are using bicycles for internal transport.
We have CNG EECO car on campus which operates from 8.30 AM to 7.30 PM for internal transport and it is free for everyone.
We have Institute bus service for the IITGN community which runs regularly between the campus and Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad.
